Emergence of the Trash Free Trails ecosystem

Reimagining how the ‘outdoor’ community works together on the bigger pictures, inspired by nature.

Safe to say, I have got a lot of time for what Trash Free Trails (TFT) is about. In my own words: connecting the outdoor community to collaborate towards protecting & regenerating our outdoor places , driven by a deep understanding of and passion for what the more than human world gives us . Trash is many things to TFT, beyond the literal single use pollution, like the inclusivity of our shared outdoor spaces or our attitudes towards nature/the more than human world.

We started a project back in 2022 titled ‘Emergence’, which in essence is about how to better bring trail users and all the connections we have together, towards collective causes’, driven by the culture of TFT that is founded in building from the bottom up and empowering change through enjoyment.

A bit of cultural bio-mimicry to inspire the right type of growth from our community ecosystem.
